Voxi hires AMV BBDO as lead creative agency

Vodafone youth brand Voxi has appointed Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO as its lead strategic and creative agency.

Maria Koutsoudakis, the brand and marketing director at Vodafone UK and Voxi, said: “We launched Voxi in 2017 to provide value-driven, innovative products to the youth segment and have seen significant growth in that period.

“We selected AMV BBDO due to their vast experience in helping leading brands drive consumer consideration and reach their audiences in new and innovative ways.”

AMV BBDO will be responsible for developing creative campaigns throughout the year as well as managing Voxi’s social media channels in partnership with LadBible.

Sam Hawkey, chief executive of AMV BBDO, added: “We can all learn from [Voxi’s] approach to disruption in a category that needed it, and their ambition to continue to build fame is the kind of brief we all want to be working on.”
